a day in the life

Hello again 🙂 As I mentioned last time, I’ve been trying to film a little more at weddings to give a glimpse into what it’s like doing what we do—or, if you hire us, what your day might look like.

We were up at The Lookout Woodbury, and some of my favourite people to work with were there. As I was loading in, a delightful smell hit me—without even looking, I knew Creative Cater were cooking up a storm!

Since I had a little time to spare after setting up, I grabbed my phone and started filming a few shots with some of the vendors who were around. I saw Demi from The Little List and Co doing some last-minute touch-ups, so I asked her to do a little walk-in with a flower or something (I can’t actually remember what exactly—she probably thought I was crazy, haha). Then Michelle was at the bar, so I got our awesome singer, Celeste to order something while I captured a shot with her in the background.

Then it was time for our first set—so we actually did some work 😀

Afterwards, I remembered I had my new drone in the car, so I brought it out and got some beautiful aerials of the venue, along with the two shooters on the day: Jordie from Chapters by Jordie, and Jake from A JAKE FILM.
